Merry (rather late) X'mas! I got...
- A CD case
- Yamaha Tuner (Although Korg is still much better)
- A little keychain dude made out of computer chips and stuff ^__^;
- Chinese chess set (and I still need to buy Ben's...)
- Age of Empires III <-Which looks really good.

Today we went to a 8 story bookstore; there was a huge music section of CDs, but very few good prog rock albums - the only good ones were: Yes, Dream Theater, and Crimson King. Bought "Falling Into Infinity" ~ Dream Theater since it is so cheap here. Dream Theater is having a concert at Taiwan on Jan. 21 '06. Phoo.

This article(s) from the WHO (World Health Organization) I think everyone should be aware of the Avain [Bird] Flu.
http://www.who.int/csr/don/en/
Seems the bird flu kills over 1/2 it infects...scary!

Guess what - dialup sucks, .4 kb/s !?!?

Day 5: HangZhou -> "Shan-High":
Do you know there is like 3(or is it 6?) million people in HangZhou?
Last night, my Dad found a nice taxi driver who would be our guide around HangZhou today. We visited some places...then went to a tea farm. We viewed the Tea Museum, then had some samples. The tea was SO good - the people there suggested to cook the used tea leaves with eggs...no idea why although. Bought some tea, visited more places, then went to the HangZhou old town. There was this gum prank - there was a plastic gum that you should pull and it shocks you like static electricity - I was going to buy it but...it hurts too much. ^__^; Later, went back to "Shan-High" and the CDs were so cheap. "Linkin Park - Live in Texas" was $4 - didn't buy it because there were lot's of pirated stuff in the store. There was a Harry Potter DVD that saids: "Harry Potter and the Philospher's Stone" oO;

Day 6: "Shan-High":
Chinaese people likes to spit lot's of crap a lot. Disguesting. We just basicly looked around the city life in "Shan-High" today. We first went to ride the super fast train (Maglev Train which levitates because of magnets) that goes 330 km/h - fun but rather scary...it went ZOOOOOM - later visited the Maglev Train, found out that there was a train at Japan that went 552 km/h with passengers. Then we just spent the rest of the day looking and buying random stuff (very cheaply). I got two of those funny metal balls that you roate them in your hands (Chris Tang has those too) and an cheap iPod case for my (kinda) 3rd gen iPod - I think it's the same one that Pattypan has.

A few conclutions to make about my trip at China: (I'm going to Hong Kong -> Taiwan tormarrow)
-> The Chinese people need to know how to cross a road and stop honking. Eek.
-> Chinese salesman is horrible - they hand out cards at you and don't even tell you what the heck it is. >>'
-> My Chinese is HORRIBLE. Even though I almost write Chinese everyday since 3rd grade - it's slowly declining...I really need to go to a Chinese school.
-> Talk about claustophobic - there is so much people packed in one place, especially in the monorails.
-> Lot's of people are so rude here =/ - they don't like tourists.
-> Lot's of fake stuff here - heard that they sell tea...the top of the container is tea...the rest is just random leaves + pirated CDs and DVDs...I think I saw a pirated iPod because the buttons looked really weird...
-> The food here are AWSOME but really oily...=/
-> Everything is so cheap. ^___^;

Hopping to two airplanes tormarrow...ugh. Heard there is a huge (and cheap) CD store at Taiwan. Does Ben enjoy TransAtlantic?

byebye. i hate airplanes.

This is probably the last post I will be posting in China. I'll finish the rest of my trip in Taiwan.

Day 4: oO;
I felt sick last night from the show, so I stayed in while my Mom and Dad went to see some stuff. Tried to play against Ben on a game (after I felt better), but didn't work.
I fugging hate airplanes. When we first board the airplane, the captain said they had to fix the airplane and we had to delayed our flight a bit. No big deal...until we were about to go off the runway the captain realized the problem was not solved. We went back to the gates...waited for like 45 min. in the plane while they tried to fix it. Finally, the captain said we need to get off the plane since it wasn't going to be fixed. Phoo. Our orignal flight was 5 and it was delayed to 8:30. The flight to Shanhigh (screw spelling) was 2 hours, so we got to the hotel at 11:30 ish (still traffic oO;). Pooperscoopers.

Day 5: HangZhou (I got the spelling right X)
Got up in the morning, felt sick since I didn't ate anything last night on the airplane because the food was some crappy "mysterous" meat. Felt woozy until I ate some random food that I didn't remember. Went to the train station, and board an 2 hour train to HangZhou. It was preety boring on the train so I just listned to diggnation on iPod ^__^. After extreme traffic at HangZhou, we had lunch at around 3ish. The food was so fricking good and huge. We then went to this place with many anicient Chinese carvings and my Mom used her sketchbook and rubbed the carvings with her pencial. After dinner, bored - so I downloaded the "demo" version of Age of Empires III - and it's preety good.

Wheee.
Going back to Shanhigh tormarrow, going to Hong Kong then to Taiwan on the 24th...so I'll probably post the rest of my trip at China 24-25. I wonder if they still sell that Shanhigh shirt Ben has...?
Presents...!
(Sarah, go to sleep and stop thinking about going to Canada. >>')

Since nobody voted should I write more about the trip except Ben, I'll write more...

Day 3: Forbidden City:
I got up early, and my Dad was like go do some excersize since you are not tired...treadmills are really annoying. Ran like umm a mile and a half? We then went to the Forbidden City, and it was really...big. (I'll add the pics later) The structures were amazing, still standing in almost perfect conditions today. Again, the chinese salesmen were really annoying, asking if we want to buy random stuff. We walked back to the hotel, which was really cold. After dinner, we went to watch a acrobatic show, and there were only about 15 people watching it. The show was quite good, and some of the people watching the show (mostly Americans) said they don't have bones oO; There were kids about 7 years old performing there, which was amazing but sad in some way. That's their only job to live and surrive here in Beijing. =/ The only bad thing about the performance was that the music they played through the speakers were horribles. The speakers were really crappy.

Again, anyone want to suggest where we should go/eat/see...?

Yes, I'm at China right now. (Free Wi-fi x)
Should I tell about my trip? Sure.

Day 1: Departure and Arrival:
Wow. Talk about reckless drivers. Our driver (to the airport) who was in a hurry, zoomed off when I was about to sit down. I flew into the chair in front of me, and saw Asami's Dad waving at me. The airplane ride was preety funny: Nobody was sitting down when the seatbelt sign was on, so the captain said, "Everyone, please sit down, because there is a SEVERE turblence coming, this is NOT a joke." Everybody sat, and there was no turblence except a tiny bump. We landed in Beijing, and slept 1 hour on the plane. (By the way, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was terrible...)

Day 2: Great Wall & Summer Home
One and a half hour drive to Great Wall. Meanwhile, I observed China traffic. Traffic Lights are funky; green, yellow, red, yellow, green. Pedestrians are really..umm...crazy. They would walk IN THE MIDDLE of a street FULL of cars and such, and won't mind at all. I saw a old lady crossing the street while there were cars passing back and forth. Wow. The Great Wall was quite impressive (and very cold), and there was uhh a lama there too. Paid 10 bucks and you get to sit on the lama. Afterwards, we went to the summer palace and the 'guides' were so poopy annoying. They would come up to you and ask if you want a person to guide you around, and keep bothering you for 5 min. There were about like 5 of them that came up to us. There were so much antiques and things, but what are they exactly? There were absoulutly no labels on any items (except "Do not touch") and the people who were suppose to explain what those things were playing around with their cell phones. Lunch was umm...if you paid about $1.25 for 24 pot stickers, they won't taste very good.

Wow. I wrote a lot of random stuff. Should I continue with each day? (comments)
Anyone want to suggest where we should go/eat/see/whatever in Beijing or Senhigh? (I can't spell, and comments please)

Bye. (Oh. Ben, Evan, and Varun...do you like the CDs?)

I still think I have airplanephobia. Going to China tormarrow. Happy early birthday Alice. (not 5 1/2 hours lol)

"
Your chances of being involved in an aircraft accident are about 1 in 11 million. On the other hand, your chances of being killed in an automobile accident are 1 in 5000. Statistically, you are at far greater risk driving to the airport than getting on an airplane. However, the perception is that you have more control over your fate when you are in your car than as a passenger. Experience shows otherwise considering that over 50,000 people are killed on the highways every year.
"

Self confidence...? ha.

So long, and thanks for all the fish. (i'll probably be able to steal some wi-fi in the hotels using my dad's computer X)

  Holidays =D
Oooh. X’mas presents fun. Gave out presents to 13 people. (11 really, if only Patricia and Alice comes to school) Going to China on Friday. So…if anyone is kindly giving presents to me, don’t wait till Friday, since I would be on a plane.
Small Ensembles: Not cool. Pattypan gets all the good stuff like 32nd notes. We are going to look for better stuff.

Merry Early Holiday (politically correct) since I’m not going to be here.
